| Klytus, played by Peter
Wyngarde in the 1980 Sci Fi film “Flash Gordon”, is Ming's
henchman and head of the secret police force in the Flash Gordon movie.
He appears to be some form of android or cyborg. Klytus desires Aura, Ming's daughter, sexually, and she claims that his agents constantly make up stories to get her in trouble. He takes sadistic pleasure in hunting down "traitors", particularly when Aura helps Flash escape. Klytus arrests Aura, and tortures her with bore worms. Klytus follows Flash, Dale Arden and Hans Zarkov to Vultan's palace, where he is killed by Flash. This results in Ming's destruction of the entire city.
